I’m Katherine Santiago, the stylist behind the scenes. My passion for event styling started at home. Growing up, I watched my parents pour their hearts into planning all types of celebrations. Being surrounded by that creative energy early on planted a seed that eventually led me on this journey. I intuitively knew that I wanted to create those same unforgettable moments for others.

As a wife and a first-time mom, that spark has only grown. I’ve realized just how deeply we all need connection, which is why I love hosting and creating my own community events. Any reason I can find—whether it’s fitness and health gatherings, moms-night-outs, playdates, or workshops, I'm in!

Launching There & Then Decor has been shaped by a unique blend of discipline, service, and creativity. For a decade, I worked as a waitress, which completely shaped my heart for hospitality and hosting. Alongside that, my background in personal training and health fueled my drive to help people thrive, while my current service in the Army and my studies in Business Administration have drilled in the ultimate lessons in discipline, strategy, and high-pressure logistics.

Ultimately, I am a creator at heart with a gift for design and an eye for detail. There is absolutely nothing like the feeling of seeing a client’s face light up the moment they walk into a space and see their dream brought to life.
